This specially made sphygmomanometer does not use mercury for blood pressure measurement. Dr. Nikolai S. Korotkov developed this innovative technology in 1905. Sphygmomanometer KZ-700 uses Riva-Rocci mercury monitor to gauge blood pressure. With a view to protecting the environment, mercury is avoided and the blood pressure monitors made digital. This highly advanced digital blood pressure monitor displays accurate results, including reading of pulse. The adjustable display column makes results reading easier. Though KZ-700 looks exactly like the traditional blood pressure monitor, no liquid is used in this device.
